The most beautiful hiking trails start right from our Lodge.

The area has ideal cycling possibilities and beautiful hiking trails suitable for young and old; but also for the experienced hiker there is plenty of challenge!

 

In the summer you can cool down in the swimming pool in our village or take a refreshing dip in one of the numerous lakes (including Weissensee and Pressegersee). Don't forget paddling in the Gössering....

 

In winter, there are cross-country ski trails, Weissbriach has a small but fine ski area with ski school and ski rental options, and just a 20-minute drive away, Nassfeld, one of Austria's top 10 ski areas. But above all, don't forget your skates, because in winter the Weissensee is the largest, frozen and prepared natural ice surface in Europe. Every year in January, the alternative "Elfstedentocht" is skated here.

 

In short, as a travel destination, this is a paradise for sporting activities but certainly also for tranquility.

 

Weißbriach itself is a small village with sufficient amenities such as several restaurants (also vegan), cafes, bakery and a supermarket.
